We do not consider organic material containing pesticides because pesticide content in any food product can cause symptoms in humans such as abdominal cramps and nausea. Globally recognised third-party laboratories such as Eurofins, SGS, and TUV evaluate our products. Pesticides are detected using the USDA 561 list of banned pesticides and the European Union's Minimum Residual Limits (MRLs). We consider products as Organic in addition to applicable certifications when pesticides are detected below the detection level (LOD).

To qualify any herbal product, microbial parameters are crucial. We ensure that microbial parameters in our products comply with microbial limits set by the American Herbal Product Association in order to avoid and monitor biological hazards (AHPA). In general, we screen our products for total plate count (TPC), yeast and mould, E Coli, and Salmonella.

We would consider a product that is free of E.coli and Salmonella. Since these two pathogens are toxic to the body and may cause gastrointestinal problems, they should be avoided.

Irradiation of any herbal product can cause chemical reactions in the food, changing the chemical makeup, nutritional content, and sensory qualities of the food. As a result, in order to preserve the organic integrity of the product, we do not consider irradiated Organic Ashwagandha Root Powder.
